A MESSAGE FROM COACH MASELLA

Valued Touchdown Club Members,

The 2025 Wagner College football season is quickly approaching! There are many reasons to be excited about this year's campaign and there is momentum building on Grymes Hill!

There are a few reasons for my optimism; the first of which is the equipment and facilities that are helping improve our program. After having the new football operations building for a full season, the impact it has had on our players, coaches, and program has been significant. Giving our team an up-to-date and modern facility to grow and improve has led to many positive changes to our program, both on and off the field. The facility has also been vital in bringing in new recruits to help continue to grow the future of the program. We have also had the pleasure of having many of you join us in this building throughout last season and we are looking forward to continuing this in the upcoming year. I thank you for your help, support, and contributions which have made this new building possible.

I am also very excited to be working alongside our great coaching staff this season. They made an instant impact on the team last season and the new coaches hired this off-season are already contributing to this team and this program. I can already see the impact they have had during spring ball and the start of camp. I believe it will have a direct correlation with our on-field success this fall.

The most important part of my optimism is our players. We have student-athletes who enjoy competing and are excited to build on the momentum of last season. They play together as a team and this group effort is present every time they step on the field. Their mindset of playing hard is pushing them on the field and they know this mindset will lead to some great things this season. That has been great to witness and I look forward to watching them find a way to win!

By joining the Touchdown Club, you become a special and integral part of the program and the greater Wagner Family, which is something I take very seriously being an alumnus of the college. Wagner Football truly is a family and we welcome the chance for you to meet our student-athletes and interact with the staff. Above all, we truly thank you for your support. Go Seahawks!

Dear Members and Supporters,
I'm thrilled to announce my return as President of the Wagner College Touchdown Club. With nearly 40 years of involvement in this incredible community, I'm deeply committed to Wagner and our student-athletes. Our mission to support Wagner's Football Program drives my passion.

I'd like to express my sincere appreciation to the new members of our Touchdown Club Committee: Vice President John Chiofalo ('87), and committee members Kevin Kettleson ('79), David Fredrickson ('14), Coach Mike Walsh, Peter Ottaviano ('89), and Bert Benedetto ('82). We're actively seeking additional committee members from the classes of 1990 and beyond. If you know someone who could be an asset, please contact Coach Masella.
